Yin & Pin Vancouver: Combining Yin Yoga and Acupuncture for Deep Nervous System Reset

We wanted to bring something different to Vancouver: combining Yin Yoga and acupuncture in a single session.

That’s how Yin & Pin started.

What Is Yin & Pin?

Yin & Pin is a 90-minute workshop that begins with grounding Yin Yoga — long, held poses that gently encourage relaxation — and transitions into acupuncture during final relaxation (Savasana).

The idea is simple: by the time the acupuncture begins, your body has already had time to slow down and settle through the yoga practice.

Why Combine the Two?

Yin Yoga uses long, passive holds and a slower pace to encourage relaxation. Acupuncture is then introduced during Savasana as part of the same calming experience.

Done separately, each has its own approach. Done together, the relaxed state created during yoga may help make the transition into acupuncture feel more comfortable and restorative.

What to Expect

No yoga experience is required. Sessions are hosted at studios across Vancouver, with custom-length options available for private and corporate bookings.

Who It’s For

If you’re someone who struggles to fully relax during a typical treatment, or you’re curious about pairing movement with acupuncture rather than choosing one or the other, this is worth trying.

How Reversepain Therapy Can Help

Yin & Pin was built by our founder, Brian Jang, as a way to bring two practices together in one experience.
